Since 1964, The Appliance Doctor has been a proud part of the communities we serve. As the day-to-day landscape of our routines changes in response to COVID-19, we’re giving this “new state” in which we must live much thought and preparation.
First, know that we are actively monitoring the situation and taking our cues from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other public officials and health experts in our home states of Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
We are immensely proud of the talented professionals in our offices, call center, and those working diligently in homes. They are the heart of our success and the champions of initiatives that support the health and safety of you our customers and neighbor. We want to make sure we are doing the right thing for you, our customer and neighbor, as well as our employees.
Please know that out of concern for your safety and that of our technicians, every team member visiting homes will follow Cleaning and Social Distancing protocols / best-practices:
- Upon entering and leaving your home our technicians will kindly ask that you allow them to wash their hands
- Please also help us to do our best to maintain a 3-5 foot distance between our technicians and members of your home (and don’t be offended if our technicians don’t shake your hand)
- In addition, for frequent cleaning of hands, tools, and surfaces know that every truck in our fleet carries waterless soap, hand sanitizer, and disinfectant surface wipes
